Did you know stress can affect your immune system?
Living with HIV can affect both physical and mental health. Stress, anxiety, and depression are common and can impact motivation, appointments, and medication adherence. Supporting your mental health can improve overall well-being and help you stay on track with care. Mental health challenges are not a personal failure, and support is available. Talking to someone, whether a counselor, support group, or trusted staff member. It is an important part of caring for your health.
Taking care of your mind is taking care of your health.
