Giving Tuesday: SAAF "Rock" Stars
Tuesday, December 1 | All day | Location: Online--www.SanAntonioAIDS.org
Those who choose to support the San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF, /sāf/) for Giving Tuesday will be getting a special treat. Each individual who donates $5 or more will have a custom, artisan-painted stone placed in SAAF’s public gardens as a permanent reminder of their generosity. When supporters donate via SAAF’s Giving Tuesday donations page, they will have the opportunity to attribute their donation in memory of someone they’ve lost to AIDS, or in honor of someone living with HIV/AIDS. These names will be painted on the stones to honor the memory of those lost, and create a visual show of support for those living with the disease. For donors who don’t supply a name, original illustrations and support messages will be painted on the stones.
